Petition for reformation of MBOA for SS3 in Malaysia 2011

Dear ELF,

as most of you guys already know, for SS2 in Malaysia, Super Junior fan-bases such as MYSJ, Sapphire Pearls Malaysia, ChocoFam, SJ Royal Noble, MYSG SJ Sapphire Blue Palace and Super Junior thread in Cari Forum has formed an alliance called Malaysia Blue Ocean Alliance (MBOA) for the purpose of uniting all Malaysian ELF on the concert day and to make the day as the most memorable day for both Super Junior and ELF.

One of MBOA project, Shining Stars, where all ELF in the stadium was given a small torchlight to be pointed upwards when Super Junior sings the song Shining Star to make a look of shining stars in the night sky, was a great success where even Super Junior member joined to make the 'stars'.

However, even with MBOA great success there still have criticism from ELF about MBOA on SS2 in Malaysia which discourage the spirit to form MBOA for SS3 Malaysia. After much consideration, a petition to decide reformation of MBOA for SS3 in Malaysia has been made. The reformation of MBOA for SS3 Malaysia will be decided by all Malaysian ELF, if we have enough signs/votes then MBOA will be reformed for SS3 in Malaysia.

Here, I hope everyone who's reading this can sign the petition if you want MBOA to re-form for SS3 in Malaysia. As it'll be probably be hard for Super Junior to do concerts as a group in the next few years (due to older members joining military/public services), it would be better if all fan-bases of Super Junior in Malaysia to join force and to make SS3 in Malaysia the most memorable concert for them, together with ELF.

You can spread this to all ELF that you know. Make blog posts about this petition or MBOA, share the link of the petition in your Facebook and Twitter or Tumblr, forward this as an email to other ELF, make a thread in forums and many other methods. The closing date for the petition is 20th October. After the date, the reformation of MBOA will be decided.

‘Korea Be Inspired’ Festival 2010
Korean Wave Contest

In conjunction with ‘Korea Be Inspired’ Festival 2010 and ‘Visit Korea Year 2010 – 2012’, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is organizing a Korean Wave Contest.

The competition is open to all Malaysians and K-pop fans in Malaysia. Participants are required to perform on either Korean song, dance and impersonality show. Participants would be judged on their singing/dancing ability, stage performance, costume and creativity. Participants are required to prepare their own minus one music. They can contact KTO for further assistance.

The competition offers many attractive prizes:-

Grand prize : 5 x Tour packages to South Korea + gift
1st Runner up : 2 x Tour packages to South Korea + gift
2nd Runner up :RM1,000 + gift

Along with this event, KTO will also be launching a special ‘Hallyu’ (Korean Wave) tour package to visit South Korea. The ‘Hallyu’ tour package is specially targeted to the ‘Hallyu’ fans in Malaysia.
People who are interested to participate in the competition can register their interest at Korea Plaza, Ground Floor, Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P. Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur or email us at klktocontest@gmail.com or contact KTO at 03 2143 9000. Registration begins from 26th March to 14th April 2010. (Materials submission deadline: 14 April 2010)

An audition will be held at the Korea Plaza, Ground Floor, Menara Hap Seng on 17th April from 2pm to 5pm. Participants can sign up as an individual or a group performance.

Korean Wave Contest final will be held at KL Live Centre, Jalan Sultan Ismail, on 15th May from 2pm to 4pm.

Kuala Lumpur, 30 March 2010 – Malaysian B-boy fans can get cranking this May when top acts from around the region converge in Kuala Lumpur for the R16 Southeast Asia Finals and show their power moves in the dance phenomena that has captured the attention of millions across the globe.

A regional spin-off from one of the world’s top 5 B-boy competitions – the R16 World B-boy Championship – the R16 Southeast Asia Finals will be a showdown of the best 8 teams from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore and Malaysia for the top spot which will give them the ticket to the global competition in South Korea later in the year.

Sponsored by LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, home appliances and mobile communications, the R16 Southeast Asia Finals is brought in by Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), which also created the R16 World B-boy Championship with the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and since its introduction in 2007 to support grassroots youth culture, the global competition has attracted participation of more than 300 artists, musicians and dancers.

For your information, MYSJ is a fan union who brought to you Sorry Sorry Malaysian version and the one who had made the petition for SJ all along the way. Sapphirepearls is a global fan union with lots of branches around the world and Malaysian branch is collaborating with MYSJ to bring the oneness of Malaysian ELF.

Just like our Prime Minister told us to be One Malaysia, we would like to be ONE ELF as well ;)

Since we're going to pressure the manufacturer so we could get more t-shirts in very short span of time, they're demanding more payment. Hence, that makes the price for each piece of t-shirt RM40 including shipping fees. For Sabah and Sarawak, RM45.

For you who wanted to buy Super Junior glow sticks (first generation); it'll cost you RM25 inclusive of shipping fees. Sabah and Sarawak is still RM25!

[PROJECT] February Boys Birthday Project!

Sapphirepearls Malaysia first project for 2010 is finally here!

And we need lots of help from all of you Malaysian E.L.F!!

As all of you have known, EPOP had finally launched their magazine in Malay version and thanks to all of you, Malay EPOP started really well with the sell ^^

As to show Malay EPOP our welcomeness, Sapphirepearls Malaysia with Chocofam forum decided to make a project that would tell them how much we need the magazine as our source of printed entertainment.

We will be celebrating three of Super Junior members birthday in February and they are Kyuhyun, Hangeng and Siwon. As to show our love to the boys, we would like you, yes! YOU! And your friends who love Super Junior too, to send email or written/printed birthday messages to Malay EPOP. We need lots a lots of messages so they know that Malaysian E.L.F. welcomes Malay EPOP very much and they will be happy to print out our messages in the magazines.

And again, we need lots of them to get it printed. That means, WE NEED YOU TO JOIN!

Happy New Year everyone! Selamat Tahun Baru 2010!

With the milestone of almost a year standing as SapphirepearlsMalaysia; we decided to move to this new blog and there are plenty of stuffs we are about to cater them to you so you could enjoy your stay here. Please anticipate it very much! And as for reminder; the old blog is still there for our references of 2009's posts as for archival use. Comments would be disabled soon but the blog would still be there as nostalgic monument ^^

After getting tons of questions through offline and emails, we finally build up our forum which is nicknamed Chocofam as to relate with each other for being Malaysian E.L.F.s close enough almost as family. Come and join the interactions between the other fellow fangirls/fanboys that loves Super Junior as much as you do and the most important thing is, you can spazz in Bahasa! Welcome To Sapphirepearls Malaysia Blog!

Selamat Datang dan Apa Khabar?

Sapphirepearls Malaysia is a sub-fanbase from the International Sapphirepearls. Our purpose includes to unite Malaysian E.L.F together in the love of Super Junior no matter what race you are, language you talk as long as you're Malaysian, this is the place where you're going to feel the comfort to love Super Junior together.

However, we hereby DECLARE that we are not official Ever Lasting Friends (E.L.F) nor do MYSJ or any existing Super Junior fanbase residing other than South Korea. The only authority that empower a fanbase as official is SM Company alone; therefore, the fanbase for international E.L.F. are somewhat in progress (as seen in SM Entertainment official homepage) until now.

We hope that helps you for answering your question on how you could join the official E.L.F. It existed, but its in progress. Taking too long of a time, fans started their own effort to unite E.L.Fs around the world and that is what SapphirepearlsMalaysia and MYSJ are doing for fellow Malaysian.

Here we would cater all your needs from gathering, projects and news that relate to Super Junior and Malaysian fanbase. Feel free to ask away if you have any questions regarding the Malaysian Super Junior fanbase here. Bertanya dalam Bahasa Melayu pun tak apa.
